Learn at your own pace and on your terms with my workbook and audio course!
About The Workbook
The Accessible Apologetics Workbook is more than a book. It’s a complete, 5-week audio course on a basic introduction to apologetics I first developed for the discipleship program at Bridgeway Christian Church in Rocklin, CA.
The workbook includes online access to recordings of five workshops (MP3s). Follow along, fill in the blanks, and you’ll be making a handy resource for yourself that you’ll want to keep handy even after you finish the course.
Workshop Descriptions
1 – Introduction to Christian Apologetics: Why Defend My Faith? (1 hr)
Discover how apologetics fits into your personal discipleship to Jesus and learn to explain your faith with confidence. You’ll walk away with biblical responses to “Christian” objections to your study like, “People don’t come to faith through apologetics.”
2 – Faith and Reason: How Do I Know Christianity is True? (1 hr and 12 min)
Discover the relationship of faith and reason, the biblical basis for faith, and how to engage relativism. You’ll learn three strategic questions for having no-pressure, spiritual conversations and develop responses to slogans like “That’s true for you, but not for me.”
3 – Evidence for God: Is God Real? (1 hr and 15 min)
Discover arguments for God’s existence and learn to effectively engage the problem of evil and suffering. You’ll walk away with key talking points and creative illustrations to make a case for the reality of a Creator, Designer and Moral law-giver of the universe.
4 – Fact or Fiction: Can I Trust My Bible? (1 hr and 22 min)
Discover three reasons to consider the Bible’s supernatural origin and the reliability of the Old Testament and the New Testament. You’ll learn to respond to the challenge that the Bible has been radically changed or that entire books of the Bible have been lost.
5 – Dead or Alive: Did Jesus Rise From the Dead? (1 hr and 15 min)
Discover the evidence for Jesus’ resurrection and learn to answer naturalistic challenges to this event. You’ll walk away with five, easy-to-remember historical facts that will help you engage with skeptics and make a compelling case for the resurrection.
