Ready for something new? Each month, you’ll hear about my recent opportunities to equip defenders of the faith. We’re in this thing together and I’d love to encourage you to bring apologetics training to your church and beyond. If God can use me, he can use you.
August was huge. I shared a talk called, “Why Does God Allow Suffering?” with 200 at the Bayside Apologetics Seminar. This event drew 1,350 from Roseville, Granite Bay, and as far away as the Bay Area.
It was an honor to speak alongside apologists like Dr. Craig Hazen, Dr. Tim Muehlhoff, and world-class philosophers, Dr. J.P. Moreland and Dr. William Lane Craig. Earlier, I also spoke to 80 young adults at Bridgeway Christian Church and 100 teens at a San Jose youth rally.
We officially launched out in July with a youth conference at my alma mater, Biola University. There, I taught an apologetics track for teens attending the Regeneration Conference. 250 attended and I spoke to 40 students during my sessions.
Back in June, I also spoke to 50 teens at another Bay Area youth rally. This is where I used the illustration, “A Dead Guy’s Facebook Page.”‘ Closer to home, I used a pictionary game to train 40 students to defend the Resurrection at a homeschooling network meeting. Exciting times!
Can I help you bring accessible apologetics to your small group or event? Let’s talk. I’m eager to see how God provides more opportunities to partner with churches and people like you in equipping future defenders of the faith!
